Cornerstone Building Inspections is a family business based in Christchurch.
Our head building surveyor is Jason. Jason has over 24 years in the building industry. He started as a carpentry apprentice in 1994 and
completed his carpentry apprenticeship in 1998. In 2001 through to 2008 Jason was trained and employed as a Building Inspector at the Rotorua District Council and was also Building Assessor for a private inspection company.
In 2008 Jason was offered a position as General Manager of the NZ business for a Multi-National Building Company, which eventually led him to Christchurch in 2010. Jason settled in Christchurch with his family in November 2010 and has been involved in the repair and rebuild of earthquake damaged properties.
Unfortunately our building industry is still lacking the quality trades people we expect. While there are some good organisation trying to lift the professionalism of the industry there are still too many examples of poor quality work and people getting ripped off. This is where we at Cornerstone Building Inspections hope to be able to help you get a quality building.
